The Contenders For The Best Android Mobile Handset

There are a number of fantastic Android phones available on the current market with the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the HTC one X leading the way in terms of innovation and popular technology.

Most of the HTC’s range tends to use Android 4.0 which now seems to be the platform for most high end smartphones on the market – all barring the impressive Sony range which tends towards Android 2.3 which has become 4.0 nowadays.

The HTC One X and the Samsung Galaxy S3 rightfully grab most of the acclaim due to their enviable specifications, super bright screens and quad core processors. The HTC and Samsung offerings are a genuine glimpse into the future for a compartively high price. That doesn’t mean that there isn’t a layer of smart phones just below them readily competing for the mid to high range market with great aplomb.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S runs on Android 2.3 with a powerful 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor. It has a large 4.2inch screen and an 8.1 mega pixel camera – specifications you’d begin to associate with a top of the range phone that is actually affordable by the masses. The Xperia Arc S is widely available on decent packages and prices, which for one of the best looking phones on the market seems like the best deal of the leading mobile phones

The previous generation Samsung Galaxy S2 may well be preferred over one of the older generation iPhones due to its generous reductions in tariff. It was a landmark phone and despite being succeeded by the S3 it is still one of the best phones available. Previous generation phones can be a good way of getting high end technology at a cheaper price.
Android has just under a 60% market share and the quality of their partnerships with the top manufacturers seems to be going from strength to strength.

The S3 might be the best Android device ever but it might be banned across nations, due to copyright infringement.

As always we have innumerable choices to make, let us strive to get best out the money we pay.
