So let’s have a brief look at all new Asus ZenFone 6 flagship smartphone.

Display and Build Quality:  ZenFone 6 sports the body carved in aluminium frame with Gorilla Glass at the back. Asus has launched this phone in Midnight Black and Twilight Silver color variants. It features 6.4″ IPS LCD display backed by Gorilla Glass 6 with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Weighing just 190 grams, it feels really good and lightweight in hand.

Specifications: ZenFone 6 ships-in with powerful Snapdragon 855 octa-core flagship processor which offers excellent performance ideal for gamers and pro users. It comes in 3 storage variants i.e. 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and massive 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It also comes with dedicated micro SD card with capacity up to 1TB.

Doesn’t find any heating issue while using the phone but it gets little bit warm when you play high graphics video games which is normal in any smartphone. You can enable 4G on both the sim cards with dual 4G support and the cellular reception quality is excellent as you can expect in any flagship phone.

Camera: Asus ZenFone 6 packs motorised rotating dual camera setup which sports 48 megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, laser auto focus and 13 megapixel secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture.

Camera supports 2160p video recording at 30/60fps, 1080p video recording at 30/60/24fps and 720p video recording at 480fps. It also sports gyro Electronic Image Stabiliser for shake free video recording.

Software: ZenFone 6 comes with ZenUI 6 based on Android 9.0 Pie. It ships-in with some Asus apps pre-installed and thankfully it doesn’t come with too many 3rd party apps installed which gives you ample storage space.

Battery Life: Phone is powered by huge 5000mAh Lithium Polymer battery and it supports quick charge 4 plus fast charging. On normal usage battery lasts at least a day and you couldn’t ask for more.

Price:  6GB / 64GB for ₹31,999

            6GB / 128GB for ₹34,999

            8GB / 256GB variant for ₹39,999

Verdict: My opinion is that it is an affordable and very powerful smartphone specially crafted for pro users. Backed by massive battery and powerful octa-core processor, this phone is ideal for hardcore gaming. Only downside is that it comes with LCD display as in this segment various manufacturers offer OLED displays.
