Following the footsteps of Micromax, another Indian smartphone maker XOLO introduced its online-only brand called the BLACK in July this year with the launch of a device that goes by the same name. The XOLO BLACK was a phablet-grade 5.5-inch offering. The brand in October introduced its second smartphone called the XOLO Black 1X that is a smaller compact sized offering with a 5-inch display. They both are budget 4G LTE-enabled Android smartphones to compete against the likes of the Chinese vendors like Xiaomi, OPPO, and Nubia in the country.
