Change Image on Mouse Roll over

You would have these kind of mini Image effects in many sites, that when you place your mouse cursor on a image, a new image appears. That is, it changes its existing image to a new image on mouse hover. It involves just two snippets of codes, the output looks awesome. You can use this little image trick in your site too. Below is an example for image change on mouse hover:

How was that? Like it? Now, you can too add this kind of image hovering effect on mouse over in your site. All you need is to just add the following code where you need to add this effect. If you want to do this effect in HTML, use the below coding.

Changing Image on Mouseover Code in HTML:

<img src=”URL of your first image” onmouseover=”this.src=’URL of second image'” onmouseout=”this.src=’URL OF first image again'” />

There can’t be any other tutorial as easy as that. Insert any image’s URL in the path of the image source. The image format doesn’t matters here. Once done, save it and Voila!

The CSS Part:

background-image: url(‘URL of the Image’);
}
